I comes from an industrial background. My grandfather was a blacksmith, and My Dad continued the skill as a part-time career. I make the third generation of the fantastic art in this modern age.

I am a life long residence of Yancey County and I’m proud of my heritage living in Western NC. There is no doubt I’m extremely blessed to live in these mountains I get to call home. Ever since I was a kid I have always been fascinated with photos, videos and the outdoors.

I was asked a few years ago to make a video of a friends home. I had my first drone (DJI Phantom 2) and had attached my Gopro Hero 3 to it with a stabilizer. That was when I fell in love with the idea of telling a story though video.
